IKON Office Solutions (NYSE: IKN) 23% HIGHER; announced that its Board of Directors has approved the repurchase of $500 million of its common stock. IKON intends to repurchase up to $295 million of its common stock through a modified "Dutch Auction" self-tender offer at a price of not less than $13 per share or more than $15 per share.
China Finance Online Co. Ltd. (Nasdaq: JRJC) 23% LOWER; reported Q3 EPS of $0.13, 1 cent better than the analyst estimate of $0.12. Revenues for the quarter were $7.3 million, versus the consensus of $7.38 million. The Company expects FY08 revenues of $50 to $60 million, versus the consensus of $53.57 million. EPS are expected to be $1.00 to $1.27, versus the consensus of $1.00
Trina Solar Ltd. (NYSE: TSL) 17% LOWER; total net revenues increased 9.7% sequentially and 155.2% year-over-year to $82.6 million. Net income increased 0.5% sequentially and 86.8% year-over-year to $7.2 million.
Jamba Juice (Nasdaq: JMBA) 6% LOWER; reported Q3 EPS of ($0.02) ex-items, 1 cent worse than the analyst estimate of ($0.01). Revenues for the quarter were $83.6 million, versus the consensus of $82.22 million.
Patterson Companies, Inc. (Nasdaq: PDCO) 6% LOWER; reports Q2 EPS of $0.39, 1 cent worse than estimates. Revenues were $742 million vs. $761.00 million consensus. Forecasting earnings of $0.44 to $0.46 per diluted share for the third quarter of fiscal 2008 ending January 26, 2008. Also are reducing our full-year fiscal 2008 guidance to $1.68 to $1.72 per diluted share from the previously-issued guidance of $1.73 to $1.77." LTX Corporation (Nasdaq: LTXX) 4.4% LOWER; reported Q1 loss of $0.06, 1 cent better than the analyst estimate of ($0.07). Revenues for the quarter were $29.6 million, versus the consensus of $30.30 million. LTX expects a Q2 loss of ($0.04) to ($0.07), versus the consensus of ($0.01). Revenues are expected to be between $28 and $32 million, versus the consensus of $34.5 million.
Gymboree Corp. (Nasdaq: GYMB) 4% LOWER; reported Q3 EPS of $0.91, 1 cent better than the analyst estimate of $0.90. Revenues for the quarter were $247.6 million, versus the consensus of $249.6 million. The Company expects Q4 EPS of $0.78 to $0.80, versus the consensus of $0.83 and FY07 EPS of $2.54 to $2.56, versus the consensus of $2.58.
Hot Topic (Nasdaq: HOTT) 3% HIGHER; reported Q3 EPS of $0.15, in-line with the analyst estimate of $0.15. Revenues for the quarter were $188.5 million, versus the consensus of $189.96 million. The Company also reaffirmed its prior guidance.
China Medical Technologies, Inc. (Nasdaq: CMED) 2.5% HIGHER; reported Q3 EPS of $0.50, 12 cents better than the analyst estimate of $0.38. Revenues for the quarter were $28.7 million, versus the consensus of $26.95 million. The Company raised its FY08 revenues from $114.8 million to $118.1 million, versus the consensus of $120.06 million. China Medical also raised its EPS guidance from $1.98 to $2.02, versus the consensus of $1.68.
Deere & Co. (NYSE: DE) 1.7% HIGHER; reports Q4 EPS of $1.88, versus the consensus of $1.55. Revenues came in at $5.42 billion, versus the consensus of $5.8 billion.
