PIMCO Total Return Feb. outflows at $8.6 billion, lowest since Gross left.
UPDATE - PIMCO issued the following statement:
The PIMCO Total Return Fund (“the Fund”) delivered a net after fee return of 1.90% through the end of February on a year-to-date basis, outperforming its benchmark by 0.76% and generating 0.68% above the Morningstar Intermediate Term Bond Average. In the five month period ending February 28, the Fund returned 3.25%, or 0.30% above the benchmark and 0.90%* above the Morningstar category. Outflows in February were approximately $8.6 billion, and the Fund had assets of $124.7 billion at the end of February.
*Five month period calculated by PIMCO using Morningstar’s data, which is based on a peer group of 1,062 funds
