CNBC's Maria Bartiromo is reporting that ex-Merrill CEO John Thain is embarrassed about his expenses related to decorating his office and will reimburse Bank of America (NYSE: BAC) $1.2 million related to the redesign of the office. It appears that Charlie Gasparino's post in The Daily Beast is going to cost John Thain $1.2 million.
