Brocade(R) (Nasdaq: BRCD) announced today that it intends to issue an unregistered offering of $400 million aggregate principal amount of Senior Notes due 2014.
The net proceeds from the proposed offering, together with cash on hand and borrowings under Brocade's new credit facility, will be used to finance the acquisition of Foundry Networks(R), and pay related fees and expenses.
Brocade Communications Systems, Inc. engages in the supply of storage area network equipment and provision of data center networking solutions primarily in the United States.
