Unusual 11 Mid-Day Movers 11/06: CBBO, OPTT, GROW, MGA Higher; GOK, OSTE, NHWK, OCLS Lower

Columbia Bancorp (Nasdaq: CBBO) 42% HIGHER; not hearing any news today. Over the last three trading sessions, the stock has been down nearly 30%, with 15% of the move coming yesterday. The stock may simply be correcting today following so much downside. Volume is very heavy today.

Ocean Power Technologies, Inc (Nasdaq: OPTT) 32.9% HIGHER; announced, in a partnership with Leighton Contractors Pty, it has received a A$66.46 million grant from the Federal Government of Australia to build a 19 MW wave power project off the coast of Victoria, Australia. The award is one of four renewable energy projects approved by the Federal Government after considering over 30 applications, and is the sole wave energy venture.

Geokinetics Inc. (AMEX: GOK) 28.4% LOWER; reports Q3 loss of $0.41, cents better than the analyst estimate of ($0.08). Revenue for the quarter was $96.80 million, which compares to the estimate of $133.92 million.

Osteotech, Inc. (Nasdaq: OSTE) 27.5% LOWER; reports Q3 loss of $0.11, 9 cents lower than the analyst estimate of ($0.02). Revenue for the quarter was $23 million, which compares to the estimate of $23.5 million. Sees FY09 sales of $92-$94 million, versus the consensus of $96.13 million, on a loss of $0.32-$0.36, which compares to the Street estimate of ($0.15).

NightHawk Radiology Holdings, Inc. (NASDAQ: NHWK) 25.7% LOWER; reports Q3 EPS of $0.17, ex-items, 1 cent better than the analyst estimate of $0.16. Revenue for the quarter was $43.5 million, which compares to the estimate of $42.71 million. Sees Q4 adj-EPS of $0.08-$0.10, versus the consensus of $0.15, on sales of $38-$40 million, versus the consensus of $40.13 million.

Oculus Innovative Sciences, Inc. (Nasdaq: OCLS) 19.3% LOWER; reports Q3 loss of $0.08, 1 cent better than the analyst estimate of ($0.09). Revenue for the quarter was $1.7 million, which compares to the estimate of $2.12 million.

U.S. Global Investors, Inc. (Nasdaq: GROW) 16.5% HIGHER; reports Q1 EPS of $0.09, 2 cents better than the analyst estimate of $0.07. Revenue for the quarter was $8 million, which compares to the estimate of $6.8 million.

Crocs, Inc. (NASDAQ: CROX) 16.5% LOWER; reports Q3 EPS of $0.01, 9 cents better than the analyst estimate of ($0.08). Revenue for the quarter was $177.1 million, which compares to the estimate of $156.41 million. Sees Q4 loss of $0.15-$0.20, versu loss of $0.16. Sees revs of $110-$115 million, versus the consensus of $113.6 million.

Magna International, Inc. (NYSE: MGA) 14.2% HIGHER; reports Q3 EPS of $0.45, versus the analyst estimate of ($0.19) and compared to ($1.93) in the same quarter last year. Revenue for the quarter was $4.67 billion, which compares to the estimate of $4.53 billion. The stock was also upgraded to Buy at UBS.

Sonic Solutions (NASDAQ: SNIC) 13.8% HIGHER; reports Q2 adjusted EPS of $0.01, cents better than the analyst estimate of ($0.05). Revenue for the quarter was $26.10 million, which compares to the estimate of $25.35 million.

CEL-SCI Corporation (NYSE Amex: CVM) 13.5% HIGHER; announced today that an Institutional Review Board of The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine (Johns Hopkins) has given clearance for the Company's first clinical study to proceed. View the release.
