Covidien plc (NYSE: COV) is seeing a little weakness early Wednesday after FDA data shows an unidentified generic challenger for PENNSAID (diclofenac sodium topical solution), an FDA approved topical non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug for osteoarthritis of the knee.
Share of COV last traded at $56.79, down 0.7 percent.
