Alsius (ALUS) Announces FDA Clearance to Market Solex(TM) Heat Exchange Catheter
Alsius Corporation (Nasdaq: ALUS) today announced that the U.S. FDA has granted the company 510(k) clearance to market the Solex(TM) heat exchange catheter.
Solex is a new catheter, developed by Alsius, that advances the company's leadership in intravascular patient temperature management. Solex offers clinicians maximum heat exchange power from a standard neck insertion, while providing triple lumen central venous access.
