Pansoft Company Limited (NASDAQ: PSOF) 49.2% HIGHER; today announced that on September 17, 2009 in Beijing, Pansoft held a successful joint press conference with Microsoft. Traders appear to be responding to the comments today.
Maguire Properties (NYSE: MPG) 32.9% HIGHER; the stock closed right at its 200-day SMA yesterday and appears to be breaking out technically today. Volume is already about 7x normal volume.
Boston Private Financial Holdings, Inc. (NASDAQ: BPFH) 24.5% HIGHER; announced last night that it has completed the sale of Coral Gables, Florida-based Gibraltar Private Bank & Trust for $93 million to private investors. Separately, the company announced the sale of RINET Company, LLC, to the RINET management team. Based in Boston, RINET is a wealth advisory firm catering to very high-net-worth clients and their families. The transaction is not expected to have a material impact on BPFH earnings or its financial position. The stock was also upgraded at KBW.
eDiets.com (Nasdaq: DIET) 22.3% HIGHER; volatility in this stock continues to be extreme. On Monday, the stock swung 54% higher, then 41% higher on Tuesday and Wednesday and Thursday fell almost 40% over the two days.
Speedus (Nasdaq: SPDE) 16.1% LOWER; correcting today following yesterday's 120% surge on FDA clearance news.
hhgregg (NYSE: HGG) 14.7% HIGHER; Barclays upgrades the stock from Equalweight to Overweight. Price target increased $1 to $22.
Franklin Street Properties Corp. (NYSE: FSP) 12.5% LOWER; announced that it has priced an underwritten public offering of 8,000,000 shares of its common stock at a price to the public of $13.00 per share. The offering was increased from a previously announced offering size of 6,000,000 shares.
Agilysys (Nasdaq: AGYS) 12.1% LOWER; not hearing any news today. The stock fell below its 200-day SMA just after the open.
Comstock Homebuilding Companies, Inc. (NASDAQ: CHCI) 11.1% LOWER; correcting today following a 50% jump yesterday on a loan agreement announcement.
Wolverine World Wide (NYSE: WWW) 6% LOWER; CL King downgrades the stock from Strong Buy to Neutral.
