Shuffle Master, Inc. to Exhibit at the Global Gaming Expo (G2E) in Las Vegas, November 17 - 19, 2009
Exhibit Will Highlight the Company's Newest Utility Products, Proprietary Table Games, e-Table Platforms, and Electronic Gaming Machine Titles
LAS VEGAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Shuffle Master, Inc. (NASDAQ Global Select Market: SHFL) ("Shuffle Master" or the "Company") announced today that it will exhibit at the Global Gaming Expo (G2E) being held in Las Vegas, November 17-19. Product demonstrations will be available at booth 2044. Shuffle Master also announced that it will present at the Deutsche Bank Securities Inc. and USB Investment Bank Gaming Investment Forum on November 16 at the Las Vegas Convention Center. A link to the webcast and a copy of the presentation will be available in the "For Investors" section of the Company's website at www.shufflemaster.com.
In keeping with the Company's emphasis on providing its customers with value-added products that drive profitability while reducing operating expenditures, Shuffle Master will highlight several new products including the following:
-- i-Table(TM) for specialty games. As Shuffle Master's newest Electronic
Table System(TM) offering, the i-Table(TM) for specialty games expands
the i-Table(TM) platform with a single-deck game version that utilizes
the Company's i-Deal(R) shuffler to deliver games like Three Card Poker
(TM) and Ultimate Texas Hold 'Em(TM). By automating the betting and
wager resolution process, the i-Table(TM) dramatically increases game
security, accuracy and speed, resulting in a significant increase in
rounds per hour while eliminating errors, a key advantage on proprietary
table games that have paytables with high odds and complicated payouts.
-- i-Verify(TM). An LCD touch screen display embedded into the table
between the chip tray and the player betting positions, the i-Verify(TM)
communicates with the i-Deal(R) single deck specialty shuffler to
instruct the dealer how to set his hand according to house procedures.
This innovation eliminates a common dealing barrier to games like Pai
Gow Poker because it eliminates the need for dealers to memorize complex
house-way rules.
-- Dealer Bluff Six Card Poker(TM). Featuring head-to-head play against the
dealer and an optional bonus bet, Dealer Bluff Six Card Poker(TM) is the
first table game to incorporate the card-reading capabilities of an
automatic card shuffler into game play. Players and the dealer each
receive six cards to make their best five-card poker hand, and when the
dealer pulls his hand from the i-Deal(R) shuffler, the shuffler reads
his hand and makes a bet based on the strength of that hand which is
reflected on an LCD display embedded in the table. If the dealer's hand
is good, he bets a large amount, and occasionally the dealer will bluff
and slow-play.
-- New Table Master(R) game titles. A five-station electronic table game,
Shuffle Master's Table Master(TM) platform will feature two new games:
Fortune Pai Gow Poker(TM) and Mississippi Stud(TM). Available with an
optional progressive jackpot, Fortune Pai Gow Poker(TM) considers the
best hand possible among a player's seven cards, and players are
eligible for Envy Bonuses when they make a Fortune wager of at least $5.
Mississippi Stud(TM) players receive two cards that are combined with
three community cards to make a five card poker hand, and may bet up to
10 units on a single hand.
-- Vegas Star(R) Roulette. With pays ranging from even money to 35 to 1,
Vegas Star(R) Roulette features a single result, a variety of betting
options and can accommodate up to 32 individual player stations per
game. Game play is conducted by an attractive video dealer who spins the
ball and announces the result, and the main display includes game
statistics and recent spin trends.
-- Electronic Gaming Machines. Highlighting popular stand-alone progressive
titles like Deep Sea Dollars(TM) and Double Firecracker(TM), the EGM
product display will include the Jesters Reward(TM) progressive link and
multiple stand-alone games including Lonesome George(TM), a
Galapagos-island themed game and Gold Country(TM), a title centered
around the gold rush.
"Our 2009 G2E product line-up includes the most extensive array of products we have ever displayed and demonstrates the strength of our research and development team," commented Roger Snow, Executive Vice President and Chairman of the Corporate Product Group. "Dealer Bluff Six Card Poker(TM) and the i-Verify(TM) house-way verifier are excellent extensions of the card-reading capabilities of the i-Deal(R) shuffler, and the innovations represented by our e-Table products should be well received by the show's attendees."
"This year's Gaming Global Expo will be a significant event for Shuffle Master because in addition to emphasizing new developments in all of our product categories, we will introduce our new worldwide branding initiative that reaffirms our commitment to working closely with our customers to provide flexible product and service solutions," stated Timothy J. Parrott, Shuffle Master's Chief Executive Officer.
