OraSure (OSUR) Prices 6.1M Offering at $12.30/Share

OraSure Technologies, Inc. (Nasdaq: OSUR) today announced the pricing of an underwritten offering of 6,100,000 shares of its common stock at a price of $12.30 per share.
After the underwriting discount and estimated offering expenses, OraSure expects to receive net proceeds of approximately $70.2 million. In addition, OraSure has granted the underwriters a 30-day option to purchase up to an additional 915,000 shares of its common stock. The offering is expected to close on July 16, 2012, subject to customary closing conditions. Citigroup and Jefferies served as joint book-running managers and Canaccord Genuity, Stephens Inc., ThinkEquity LLC and JMP Securities served as co-managers for the offering.
