Metals USA Holdings Corp. (NYSE: MUSA) announced a proposed secondary offering of 4,000,000 shares of its common stock by certain investment funds affiliated with Apollo Global Management LLC (NYSE: APO) (collectively, with its subsidiaries, "Apollo"). In addition, the Funds will grant the underwriters a 30-day option to purchase up to an additional 600,000 shares of common stock. Metals USA Holdings Corp. is not offering any shares of common stock in the offering and will not receive any proceeds from the sale of shares in this offering.
Goldman, Sachs & Co., Credit Suisse Securities (USA) LLC, Deutsche Bank Securities Inc., Merrill Lynch, Pierce, Fenner & Smith Incorporated, Morgan Stanley & Co. LLC, and UBS Securities LLC, will act as joint book-running managers for this offering.
