Main Street Capital Corporation (NYSE: MAIN) has closed the previously announced underwritten public offering of 3,750,000 shares of common stock at a public offering price of $22.50 per share (or approximately 143% of its latest reported net asset value per share of $15.72).
In addition, the underwriters fully exercised their option to purchase 562,500 additional shares of the Company's common stock to cover over-allotments.
Net proceeds from the offering, including exercise of the over-allotment option but after deducting underwriting discounts and estimated offering expenses payable by the Company, were approximately $93.0 million.
