MSCI (MXB) To Offer 3.3M Shares Related to S&P 400 Addition
MSCI Inc. (NYSE: MXB) is commencing a registered public offering of 3.3 million shares of its class A common stock, par value $0.01 per share.
The offering is being made in conjunction with MSCI’s inclusion in the S&P MidCap 400 Index after the market closes on November 5, 2009.
Net proceeds from the offering are expected to be used for general corporate purposes, which may include the funding of strategic acquisitions or the repayment of a portion of MSCI’s credit facility.
