PPI for the month of March was flat, vs. the economist estimate of up 0.3%. The reading for February was 0.4%. The metric was up 2.8% year over year, which compares to the Street estimate of up 3.1%.
Core PPI (excludes food & energy prices) was up 0.3%, vs. the consensus estimate of up 0.2%. Core PPI was up 2.9% on a year-over-year basis.
