Initial jobless claims for the week ended June 2nd fell to 377,000, which compares to the economist estimate of 378,000. The prior-week reading was revised from 383,000 to 389,000.
Continuing claims for the week ended May 26th totaled 3.293 million, which compares to the Street estimate of 3.25 million.
