Initial jobless claims for the week ended June 16th were down to 387,000, which compares to the economist estimate of 383,000. The reading for the prior week was revised from an initial 386,000 to 389,000.
Continuing claims for the week ended June 9th totaled 3.299 million, versus the analyst consensus estimate of 3.278 million.
