Initial jobless claims for the week ended April 21st fell rose to 388,000, which compares to the economist estimate of 375,000. The prior week reading was revised from an initial 386,000 to 389,000.
Continuing claims for the week ended April 14th totaled 3.315 million, vs. the Street estimate of 3.293 million.
