Initial jobless claims for the week ended May 19th fell to 370,000, which compares to the economist estimate of 370,000. The prior week reading was revised from an initial 370,000 to 372,000.
Continuing claims for the week ended May 12th totaled 3.26 million, which compares to the Street estimate of 3.25 million.
