salesforce.com (CRM) Tops Q3 EPS by 1c

salesforce.com (NYSE: CRM) reported Q3 EPS of $0.14, $0.01 better than the analyst estimate of $0.13. Revenue for the quarter came in at $1.38 billion versus the consensus estimate of $1.37 billion.

salesforce.com sees FY2015 revenue of $5.365-5.37 billion, versus the consensus of $5.37 billion.

The company also initiates FY16 revenue of approximately $6.45-$6.50 billion, versus the consensus of $6.66 billion.

"Salesforce continues to be the fastest growing top 10 software company, with constant currency revenue and deferred revenue growth of 30% or more year-over-year," said Marc Benioff, Chairman and CEO, Salesforce. "Given the tremendous response to our Customer Success Platform, I'm delighted to announce a fiscal 2016 revenue projection of $6.5 billion at the high end of the range."
