ZixCorp (ZIXI) Tops Q1 EPS by 1c; Guides In-Line

ZixCorp (NASDAQ: ZIXI) reported Q1 EPS of $0.06, $0.01 better than the analyst estimate of $0.05. Revenue for the quarter came in at $14.3 million versus the consensus estimate of $14.35 million.

“The continued strength of our email encryption business enabled us to achieve increased earnings per share and deliver healthy growth in revenue, backlog and total orders,” said David Wagner, ZixCorp’s Chief Executive Officer. “New First Year Orders were not as strong as expected, but we are confident that our pipeline across go-to-market channels and opportunities created by Cloud email migrations keep us on track to meet our annual revenue and earnings guidance.”

GUIDANCE:

ZixCorp sees Q2 2016 EPS of $0.06, versus the consensus of $0.06. ZixCorp sees Q2 2016 revenue of $14.6-14.8 million, versus the consensus of $14.8 million.

ZixCorp raises FY2016 EPS to $0.24, versus the consensus of $0.24. ZixCorp sees FY2016 revenue of $59.5-61.0 million, versus the consensus of $60.2 million.
