Westmoreland Coal Company (AMEX: WLB) hired D.L. Lobb as President and Chief Executive Officer effective April 28, 2008.
Lobb joins the Company from Peabody Energy Corporation, where he was Group Executive of Peabody’s Powder River Basin operations, the largest of Peabody’s regions. [LJ]
