VF Corporation (NYSE: VFC) reports Q3 EPS of $1.94, which includes $0.17 impact from higher pension expense and currency rates, versus the analyst estimate of $1.95. Revenue for the quarter was $2.09 billion, which compares to the estimate of $2.10 billion.
VF Corporation anticipate that 2009 revenues will be down about 6%, with 2% of the decline due to foreign currency translation. Earnings per share should range between $4.85 and $5.00 versus $5.42 in 2008, including a negative impact of approximately $.70 per share in 2009 from higher pension expense and currency translation.
VFC also announced a 2% increase in their quarterly dividend, to $.60 per share.
