Advanced Medical Optics Inc. (NYSE: EYE) 144.1% HIGHER; Abbott Labs (NYSE: ABT) announced a definitive agreement to acquire the company for $22 per share in cash, for a total transaction value of approximately $2.8 billion.

Satyam Computer (NYSE: SAY) 85.9% LOWER; following last week's shocking news of fraud by the company's Chairman, shares of Satyam have reopened trading with nearly 90% less value than on Monday of last week. A new Board was appointed at Saytam this morning. Click here for that full report.

EnteroMedics Inc., (NASDAQ: ETRM) 37.3% HIGHER; today announced interim clinical results from the VBLOC-RF2 feasibility study of the Company's VBLOC(TM) vagal blocking therapy device, the Maestro(TM) System. The study includes 38 implanted subjects and is designed to evaluate the system's safety and efficacy. Follow-up data show excess weight loss, or EWL, of 37.6% in 9 patients at 18 months of VBLOC Therapy, 28.1% in 17 patients at 12 months of therapy and 17.9% in 35 patients at six months of therapy.

Landry's Restaurants Inc. (NYSE: LNY) 32.7% LOWER; announced today that it has terminated the previously announced going private transaction due to unusual circumstances with the lead lenders and the SEC is pursuing the alternative financing as set forth under a commitment from the lead lenders to refinance its existing approximately $400 million in senior notes.

Ruth's Hospitality Group, Inc. (Nasdaq: RUTH) 22% LOWER; said total Company-owned restaurant sales increased 14.2% to $96.9 million in the fourth quarter of 2008. Company-owned comparable restaurant sales at Ruth's Chris Steak House decreased 18.5%, compared to a 5.6% decrease in 2007.

Hologic, Inc. (Nasdaq: HOLX) 21.3% HIGHER; expects first quarter fiscal 2009 revenues to be three percent below previously issued guidance. The Company now expects total revenues to be approximately $428 million to $429 million. This compares to prior Company guidance issued on November 11, 2008 of $441 million to $443 million. The consensus is $437 million. Hologic expects non-GAAP adjusted EPS for the first quarter of fiscal 2009 to meet or exceed initial expectations and be in a range of $0.30 to $0.31, as a result of a number of cost reduction initiatives the Company implemented in the first quarter. This compares to prior Company guidance for non-GAAP adjusted EPS issued on November 11, 2008 of $0.29 to $0.30. The consensus is $0.29.

Allied Capital (NYSE: ALD) 20.6% LOWER; shares of Allied appear to be correcting today following a 230% gain since December 12. Notably, Jim Cramer mentioned Allied on Mad Money last week, giving it a "Sell, Sell, Sell".

Audiovox (Nasdaq: VOXX) 19.8% HIGHER; reported Q3 EPS of $0.29 versus the consensus of $0.19. Revenues came in at $195.6 million, versus the consensus of $183.6 million.

Zep Inc. (NYSE: ZEP) 19.2% LOWER; reports Q1 loss of $0.07 including items, versus the analyst estimate of $0.12. Revenue for the quarter was $129.2 million, versus the consensus of $129.57 million.

A-Power Energy Generation Systems (Nasdaq: APWR) 15.9% HIGHER; A-Power and GE Drivetrain Technologies, a unit of GE Transportation announced today that they have signed two Letters of Intent, one for GE Drivetrain Technologies to supply A-Power with 2.7 MW wind turbine gearboxes and a second to establish a Joint Venture partnership for a wind turbine gearbox assembly plant. Mindray Medical International Limited (NYSE: MR) 13.1% HIGHER; reports preliminary FY08 sales of $540-$550 million, versus the consensus of $550.15 million, with non-GAAP EPS of no less than $1.16, versus the Street estimate of $0.98.
