Signet Jewelers (SIG) Tops Q4 EPS by 2c; Comps Rose 4.2%; Guides Q1 EPS

Signet Jewelers (NYSE: SIG) reported Q4 EPS of $3.06, $0.02 better than the analyst estimate of $3.04. Revenue for the quarter came in at $2.28 billion versus the consensus estimate of $2.32 billion.

Same store sales increased 4.2% compared to an increase of 4.3% in the fourth quarter Fiscal 2014. eCommerce sales were $149.6 million compared to $79.0 million in the fourth quarter Fiscal 2014, up $70.6 million or 89.4%, also due principally to the addition of Zale which added $54.8 million in eCommerce sales.

Signet Jewelers sees Q1 2016 EPS of $1.57-$1.62, versus the consensus of $1.61.
