Semitool (SMTL) Tops Q3 EPS by 1c, Issues Mixed Guidance for Q4 and FY

Semitool (Nasdaq: SMTL) reports Q3 EPS of $0.11, 1 cent better than the analyst estimate of $0.10. Revenues for the quarter were $67 million, versus the consensus of $65.33 million.

Management expects fourth quarter revenue to be in a range of $62 million to $64 million, which would result in full-year revenue of between $240.5 million and $242.5 million. Fourth quarter earnings per share are expected to range from $0.05 to $0.07, which would result in full-year EPS of between $0.20 and $0.22. (Q4 revenue consensus is $64.5 million and EPS consensus is $0.12 - FY revenue consensus is $241.37 million and EPS consensus is $0.26)
