Scholastic Corp (NASDAQ: SCHL) reported Q4 EPS of $0.78, $0.01 better than the analyst estimate of $0.77. Revenue for the quarter came in at $545.8 million versus the consensus estimate of $520.3 million.
Scholastic expects total revenue from continuing operations in fiscal 2012 of approximately $1.9 billion, and earnings per diluted share from continuing operations in the range of $1.75 to $2.10.
Fiscal 2012 free cash flow is expected to be approximately $90 to $100 million, which includes capital expenditures of $55 to $65 million and prepublication and production spending of $65 to $75 million.
