Rite Aid (RAD) Reports Wider-Than-Expected Q2 Loss; Guides Lower

Rite Aid Corp. (NYSE: RAD) reports Q2 loss of $0.27, versus the consensus of a $0.15 loss. Revenues came in at $6.5 billion, versus the consensus of $6.51 billion.

Rite Aid sees FY loss of $0.56-$0.67, versus the consensus of a $0.51 loss. Sees FY sales of $26-$26.5 billion, versus the consensus of $26.7 billion.

Rite Aid Corporation, through its subsidiaries, operates a chain of retail drugstores. Its retail stores primarily provide pharmacy services.
