Polaris Industries, Inc. (NYSE: PII) reported Q1 EPS of $0.98, $0.06 better than the analyst estimate of $0.92. Revenue for the quarter came in at $55.4 million versus the consensus estimate of $717.09 million.

North American retail sales sustained considerable momentum, rising 17% year-over-year in the second quarter.

Polaris Industries, Inc. sees FY2012 EPS of $4.05-$4.15, versus prior guidance of $3.85-$4.00 and the consensus of $4.07. Full year 2012 sales are now expected to grow in the range of 14 percent to 17 percent from 2011.
