Metals USA Holdings (MUSA) Misses Q4 EPS by 7c

Metals USA Holdings (NYSE: MUSA) reported Q4 EPS of $0.23, $0.07 worse than the analyst estimate of $0.30. Revenue for the quarter came in at $437.5 million versus the consensus estimate of $455.68 million.
Fourth quarter 2012 shipments of 353,000 tons were 8% higher than the 327,000 tons shipped during the fourth quarter of 2011 and better than the 3.1% decline for the industry as reported by the Metals Service Center Institute.
