Merge Healthcare Incorporated (NASDAQ: MRGE) is delaying the filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission ("SEC") of its annual report on Form 10-K for the year ended December 31, 2007.
The Company is currently in the process of finalizing its results for the year ended December 31, 2007, and the Company’s independent registered public accounting firm has not yet completed its audit of the Company’s year-end results. As such, there can be no assurance that the actual financial results for the year ended December 31, 2007 or the cash and cash equivalents at December 31, 2007 will not be different than currently expected.[SM]
