Massey Energy Company (NYSE: MEE) today reported that its Board of Directors, at a regularly scheduled meeting, declared a quarterly dividend in the amount of $0.06 per share, or $0.24 annualized.
The dividend will be paid on December 31, 2009 to shareholders of record on December 17, 2009. The ex-dividend date is December 15, 2009.
Yield on the dividend is 0.7%.
Massey Energy Company, through its subsidiaries, produces, processes, and sells bituminous coal primarily in the United States.
