Landec Corp (LNDC) Tops Q2 EPS by 18c; Boosts FY13 Outlook

Landec Corp (NASDAQ: LNDC) reported Q2 EPS of $0.34, $0.18 better than the analyst estimate of $0.16. Revenue for the quarter came in at $114.7 million versus the consensus estimate of $102.69 million.

Guidance:

As reflected in our financial results, Landec had a very good first half of fiscal year 2013 with revenue growth of 40% and net income growth of 158% compared to the same period last year. Our original guidance for all of fiscal year 2013 was to grow revenues by approximately 30% and net income by 25% to 35% compared to fiscal year 2012.
