L-3 Communications (LLL) Tops Q2 View; Raises FY08 Outlook
L-3 Communications (NYSE: LLL) reports Q2 EPS of $1.67, ex-items, 4 cents better than the analyst estimate of $1.63. Revenues for the quarter were $3.7 billion, versus the consensus of $3.66 billion.
L-3 raises its FY08 sales guidance from $14.5-$14.7 billion to at least $14.7 billion, versus the Street consensus of $14.66 billion. EPS for the year move from $6.56-$6.70 to $6.71-$6.75, versus the consensus of $6.68.
L-3 Communications Holdings, Inc., through its subsidiaries, provides command, control, communications, intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (C3ISR) systems; and aircraft modernization and maintenance, and government services primarily in the United States.
