Image Entertainment (DISK) Misses Q3 EPS by 12c, Guides Lower for FY Revenues
Image Entertainment (Nasdaq: DISK) reports a Q3 loss of $0.18, 12 cents worse than estimates.(-.06) Revenues were $22.8 million vs. $24.37 million consensus.
The Company believes that net revenues for the third quarter ending December 31, 2006, will be in the range between $26 million to $28 million, which, will result in a net loss for the quarter. Current consensus is $37 million.
The Company expects that revenues for fiscal 2007 will be in the range of $98 million to $103 million, lower than the previously projected guidance, which had been in the range of $112 million to $120 million. The Company has not provided specific earnings guidance but anticipates that it will incur a net loss for fiscal 2007, lower than the previously projected guidance, which had been profitability. Current consensus is $114.55 million.
