General Mills (GIS) Misses Q2 EPS by 3c; Affirms FY12 Outlook

General Mills (NYSE: GIS) reported Q2 EPS of $0.76, $0.03 worse than the analyst estimate of $0.79. Revenue for the quarter came in at $4.62 billion versus the consensus estimate of $4.6 billion.

Reaffirms outlook.

The company’s guidance for the second half of fiscal 2012 calls for double-digit growth in net sales and high single-digit to low double-digit growth in adjusted diluted earnings per share.
