G-III Apparel Group (Nasdaq: GIII) reports a Q1 loss of $0.42, 7 cents better than the analyst estimate of ($0.49). Revenues for the quarter were $75.4 million, versus the consensus of $60.09 million.
Sees Q2 sales of about $100 million, versus the consensus of $112.66 million, and a net loss of $0.22, versus ($0.09). For FY09, G-III sees revs in the range of $650-$660 million, versus the Street estimate of $673.68 million and EPS of $1.25-$1.30, versus the consensus of $1.30.
