Fred's (FRED) Reports In-Line Q3 EPS

Fred's (NASDAQ: FRED) reported Q3 EPS of $0.10, in-line with the analyst estimate of $0.10. Revenue for the quarter came in at $541 million versus the consensus estimate of $537.1 million.

Comparable store sales increase of 2.7% for the quarter and 1.5% for the year-to-date periods exceeded company guidance and was the highest increase since the first quarter of 2009.

Guidance:

Fred's sees Q4 2015 EPS of $0.13-$0.17, versus the consensus of $0.17.
