Francesca's (FRAN) Tops Q1 EPS by 1c; Issues Light Q2 Outlook

Francesca's (Nasdaq: FRAN) reported Q1 EPS of $0.18, $0.01 better than the analyst estimate of $0.17. Revenue for the quarter came in at $106.1 million versus the consensus estimate of $106.76 million.

Comparable sales increased 2%, including an ecommerce comparable sales increase of 38%

Francesca's sees Q2 2016 EPS of $0.16-$0.19, versus the consensus of $0.23. Francesca's sees Q2 2016 revenue of $106-110 million, versus the consensus of $117.2 million.

Francesca's sees FY2016 EPS of $0.86-$0.96, versus the consensus of $0.93. Francesca's sees FY2016 revenue of $460-480 million, versus the consensus of $482.7 million.
