FalconStor Software (FALC) Misses Q2 EPS by 2c, Guides In-line for FY; Approve Increase in Stock Buyback

FalconStor Software Inc. (Nasdaq: FALC) reports Q2 EPS of $0.05, 2 cents worse than the analyst estimate of $0.07. Revenues for the quarter were $22.2 million, versus the consensus of $23.51 million.

Sees FY08 revenues in the range of $100-$104 million vs. $103.09 million consensus. Sees FY08 Non-GAAP EPS between $0.31-$0.36 vs. $0.34 consensus.

The Company also announced that its Board of Directors approved another increase in the size of its Stock Repurchase Program by an additional three million shares. The Company has already repurchased 3.7 million shares. As a result of this increase, the Company may repurchase up to 4.3 million additional shares.
