Energen Corp. (NYSE: EGN) reports Q3 EPS of $0.61, ex-items, 1 cent lower than the analyst estimate of $0.62. Revenue for the quarter was $287.3 million, which compares to the estimate of $284.69 million.
Raises its FY09 EPS guidance from $3.10-$3.50 to $3.45-$3.65, versus the consensus of $3.54.
EPS for FY10 are expected to be in the range of $4.00-$4.40, which compares to the Street estimate of $4.47.
