Douglas Dynamics (PLOW) Tops Q3 EPS by 17c; Guides Above the Street

Douglas Dynamics (NYSE: PLOW) reported Q3 EPS of $0.47, $0.17 better than the analyst estimate of $0.30. Revenue for the quarter came in at $78.8 million versus the consensus estimate of $69.8 million.

Douglas Dynamics sees FY2014 EPS of $1.40-$1.75, versus the consensus of $1.25. Douglas Dynamics sees FY2014 revenue of $265-295 million, versus the consensus of $256.7 million.

Janik, Chairman, President, and Chief Executive Officer of the Company commented, "So far, 2014 has exceeded our internal expectations with strong financial performance reflecting a favorable market environment, strength across our portfolio, and successful execution of our strategy.
