Cerner (CERN) Tops Q4 EPS by 4c; Guides In-Line

Cerner (NASDAQ: CERN) reported Q4 EPS of $0.61, $0.04 better than the analyst estimate of $0.57. Revenue for the quarter came in at $1.18 billion versus the consensus estimate of $1.18 billion.

GUIDANCE:

Cerner sees Q1 2016 EPS of $0.52-$0.54, versus the consensus of $0.54. Cerner sees Q1 2016 revenue of $1.15-1.2 billion, versus the consensus of $1.18 billion.

Cerner sees FY2016 EPS of $2.30-$2.40, versus the consensus of $2.36. Cerner sees FY2016 revenue of $4.9-5.1 billion, versus the consensus of $5.02 billion.

“Our fourth quarter results reflect a solid finish to a record year,” said Zane Burke, Cerner president. “In 2015, we added more than double the number of new EHR clients than any year in our history, including both large health systems and small hospitals. We also continued to advance our cloud-based HealtheIntent™ platform and had a very strong year of selling our population health solutions both inside and outside our EHR installed base.”
