Caterpillar Inc. (NYSE: CAT) reported Q1 EPS of $1.84, $0.53 better than the analyst estimate of $1.31. Revenue for the quarter came in at $12.9 billion versus the consensus estimate of $11.52 billion.
Raises FY11 EPS guidance from near $6 to $6.25-$6.75, versus the consensus of $6.25. Revenue moves from over $50 billion to $52-$54 billion, versus the consensus of $52.2 billion.
