CSS Industries, Inc. (NYSE: CSS) reports Q4 loss of $0.57, compared to a loss of $0.63 in the same quarter last year. Revenue for the quarter was $56.49 million, versus $56.40 million in Q408.
Commenting on the FY09, CSS said "charges for severance related to a reduction in our workforce reduced our diluted earnings per share for the fourth quarter of fiscal 2009 by $.07 per diluted share. We did not anticipate this workforce reduction when we previously announced our revised fiscal year 2009 guidance of between $1.70 to $1.90 per diluted share."
