Bob Evans Farms (BOBE) Tops Q2 EPS by 11c; FY17 adj.-EPS Outlook Boosted

Bob Evans Farms (NASDAQ: BOBE) reported Q2 EPS of $0.56, $0.11 better than the analyst estimate of $0.45. Revenue for the quarter came in at $316 million versus the consensus estimate of $318.06 million.

Same-store sales declined 1.8 percent with the balance of the net sales decline due to net restaurant closures during the past year. No restaurants were closed and no new restaurants opened during the quarter. The Company operated 522 restaurants at the end of the quarter.

GUIDANCE:

Bob Evans Farms sees FY2017 EPS of $2.15-$2.30, versus the consensus of $2.11.
