Autodesk (ADSK) Tops Q4 EPS by 10c; Guides Q1 Below the Street

Autodesk (NASDAQ: ADSK) reported Q4 EPS of $0.21, $0.10 better than the analyst estimate of $0.11. Revenue for the quarter came in at $648 million versus the consensus estimate of $634.92 million.

Total subscriptions increased by approximately 109,000 from the third quarter of fiscal 2016 to 2.58 million at the end of the fourth quarter. New model subscriptions (Desktop, enterprise flexible license, and cloud subscription) increased by approximately 62,000 from the third quarter of fiscal 2016 to 427,000.

GUIDANCE:

Autodesk sees Q1 2017 EPS of ($0.17)-($0.12), versus the consensus of ($0.08). Autodesk sees Q1 2017 revenue of $500-520 million, versus the consensus of $537.3 million.

Autodesk sees FY2017 EPS of ($0.85)-($0.60), versus the consensus of ($0.67). Autodesk sees FY2017 revenue of $1.95-2.05 billion, versus the consensus of $2.09 billion.
