Allied Nevada Gold (ANV) Reports FY11 EPS $0.41, Sales up 16% Y/Y

Allied Nevada Gold Corp. (NYSE: ANV) is pleased to provide financial and operating results for the year ended December 31, 2011.
Allied Nevada achieved net income of $36.7 million ($0.41 per share -basic) in 2011, compared with net income of $34.1 million ($0.41 per share) in 2010.
Revenue from sales of 88,191 gold ounces and 372,000 silver ounces in 2011 was $152.0 million compared with $130.9 million for 2010 (sales of 102,483 ounces of gold and 238,242 ounces of silver). Revenue increased primarily due to the higher realized gold prices in 2011 as compared with 2010.
Gold production in 2011 of 104,002 ounces met guidance of approximately 100,000 ounces while silver production of 479,440 ounces exceeded guidance.
