After-Hours Movers 6/9: CDIC, SHFL, OXM, CPST Higher; ZILA, SATC, LHO, FBCM, B Lower

CardioDynamics International Corporation (Nasdaq: CDIC) 57.9% HIGHER; SonoSite, Inc. (Nasdaq: SONO) today announced that it has reached an agreement to acquire CardioDynamics. Under the terms of the agreement, SonoSite will acquire CardioDynamics in exchange for $1.35 per share in cash. The aggregate transaction value will be approximately $10.0 million, or $12.3 million net of cash and debt. Zila, Inc. (Nasdaq: ZILA) 29% LOWER; reports Q3 loss of $0.14, 4 cents better than the analyst estimate of ($0.18). Revenue for the quarter was $8.5 million, versus the consensus of $13.10 million.

Shuffle Master, Inc. (Nasdaq: SHFL) 10.3% HIGHER; reports Q2 EPS of $0.10, 6 cents better than the analyst estimate of $0.04. Revenue for the quarter was $45.3 million, versus the consensus of $43.03 million.

Satcon Technology Corporation (Nasdaq: SATC) 9.4% LOWER; intends to offer shares of its common stock in a $20,225,000 public offering pursuant to an effective shelf registration statement. The Company expects to grant the underwriters a 30-day option from the date of the final prospectus supplement to purchase up to an additional $3,033,750 of its common stock.

LaSalle Hotel Properties (NYSE: LHO) 8.1% LOWER; plans to sell 6,500,000 common shares in an underwritten public offering pursuant to its effective shelf registration statement previously filed with the SEC. The Company intends to use the net proceeds of this offering to reduce amounts outstanding under its senior unsecured credit facility and under the unsecured credit facility of the Company's taxable REIT subsidiary, LaSalle Hotel Lessee, Inc., and for general corporate purposes.

FBR Capital Markets Corporation (Nasdaq: FBCM) 7.9% LOWER; announced today the commencement of a public offering of 20,000,000 shares of its common stock, par value $0.001 per share. The underwriters will be granted a 30-day option to purchase up to an additional 3,000,000 shares of FBR Capital Markets common stock to cover over-allotments, if any, from a selling stockholder that is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Arlington Asset Investment Corp. If the underwriters' over-allotment option is exercised, FBR Capital Markets will not receive any of the net proceeds from the sale of shares by the selling stockholder pursuant to any exercise of the underwriters' over-allotment option.

Oxford Industries (NYSE: OXM) 7.2% HIGHER; reports Q1 EPS of $0.42, versus the analyst estimate of $0.25. Revenue for the quarter was $216.7 million, versus the consensus of $218.95 million.

Capstone Turbine (Nasdaq: CPST) 5.8% HIGHER; has signed a contract for its first C1000 long term Factory Protection Plan (FPP) for three C1000 systems recently shipped to Aquatec-Maxcon Pty Ltd, its distributor for the Australian market. Ameriprise Financial, Inc. (NYSE: AMP) 5.4% LOWER; announced that it is commencing an underwritten registered public offering of $900 million of its common stock. The company plans to use the proceeds for general corporate purposes, including to support growth initiatives and to take advantage of acquisition opportunities as they become available.

Hemispherx BioPharma (AMEX: HEB) 4.5% LOWER; filed a preliminary prospectus for a $150 million mixed securities shelf. 99 CENTS Only (NYSE: NDN) 3.2% LOWER; reports Q4 EPS of $0.10, 6 cents better than the analyst estimate of $0.04. Revenue for the quarter was $329.2 million, versus the consensus of $327.78 million. Q4 comp sales rose 6.2%. NDN also said consolidated gross margin increased by 210 basis points to 39.3% of sales and product cost decreased by 70 basis points to 56.8% overall.

Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated (NYSE: JLL) 2.7% LOWER; announced today that it plans to offer 5,500,000 shares of its common stock in an underwritten public offering. The Company also plans to grant the underwriters a 30-day option to purchase up to 825,000 additional shares of common stock to cover overallotments, if any. Merrill Lynch & Co. is serving as book-running manager and BMO Capital Markets, Barclays Capital and ABN AMRO Incorporated are acting as lead managers for the offering.

Rentrak Corporation (Nasdaq: RENT) 2.1% HIGHER; reports Q4 EPS of $0.13, ex-items, versus the analyst estimate of $0.05. Revenue for the quarter was $22.3 million, versus the consensus of $22.41 million.
