After-Hours Movers 6/4: UPI, GES, ULTA Higher; CAE, MWE, ALOG, XIDE, BXP Lower
Cascade Corporation (NYSE: CAE) 8.3% LOWER; reports Q1 loss of $1.12, versus the analyst estimate of $0.13. Revenue for the quarter was $76.3 million, versus the consensus of $87.57 million.
MarkWest Energy Partners, L.P. (NYSE: MWE) 7.5% LOWER; announced that it is commencing a public offering of 2,900,000 common units. The Partnership intends to use the net proceeds from the offering to partially fund its growth capital budget. Pending that use, the Partnership intends to apply a portion of the net proceeds to pay down borrowings under its revolving credit facility. The Partnership has granted Morgan Stanley a 30-day option to purchase a maximum of 435,000 additional common units to cover over-allotments, if any.
Uroplasty (AMEX: UPI) 6.7% HIGHER; reports Q4 loss of $0.11, compared to a loss of $0.05 in the same quarter last year. Revenue for the quarter was $2.9 million, versus $4.1 million in Q408.
Analogic Corporation (Nasdaq: ALOG) 6.3% LOWER; reports Q3 EPS of $0.24, ex-items, 12 cents lower than the analyst estimate of $0.36. Revenue for the quarter was $93.6 million, versus the consensus of $111.20 million.
Exide Technologies (Nasdaq: XIDE) 6% LOWER; reports Q4 loss of $0.03, ex-items, versus the analyst estimate of ($0.22). Revenue for the quarter was $654.3 million, versus the consensus of $760.17 million.
Guess (NYSE: GES) 5% HIGHER; reports Q1 EPS of $0.35, 6 cents better than the analyst estimate of $0.29. Revenue for the quarter was $441.2 million, versus the consensus of $436.58 million. Sees Q2 EPS of $0.42-$0.45, versus the consensus of $0.37, and revs of $465-$485 million, versus the consensus of $468 million.
Quanta Services Inc. (NYSE: PWR) 4.8% HIGHER; will replace Ingersoll-Rand (NYSE: IR) in the S&P MidCap 400.
TeleTech Holdings Inc. (NASDAQ: TTEC) 4.2% HIGHER; will replace Valmont Industries in the S&P SmallCap 600 after the close of trading on a date to be announced.
Boston Properties, Inc. (NYSE: BXP) 3.8% LOWER; announced that it has commenced a public offering of 10,500,000 shares of common stock. The company expects to grant the underwriters an overallotment option to purchase up to 1,575,000 additional shares of common stock. Boston Properties intends to use the net proceeds for general business purposes, which may include investment opportunities and debt reduction.
Ulta Salon, Cosmetics & Fragrance, Inc. (Nasdaq: ULTA) 2.5% HIGHER; reports Q1 EPS of $0.08, 3 cents better than the analyst estimate of $0.05. Revenue for the quarter was $268.8 million, versus the consensus of $265.05 million. Same store sales fell 2.3% during the quarter. Sees Q2 sales of $264-$272 million, which compares to the Street estimate of $269.07 million. This level of sales assumes a same store sales decline of 2-5%. EPS for the quarter are expected to be in the range of $0.03-$0.05, versus the consensus of $0.04.
