PAREXEL (Nasdaq: PRXL) 15.5% HIGHER; reports Q3 EPS of $0.25, 1 cent better than the analyst estimate of $0.24. Revenue for the quarter was $311 million, versus the consensus of $276.62 million. Sees Q4 EPS of $0.26-$0.28, versus the Street estimate of $0.25. Raises its FY09 EPS guidance from $0.94-$0.98 to $0.97-$0.99, versus the consensus of $0.95.

Mindspeed Technologies (Nasdaq: MSPD) 9.7% HIGHER; reports Q2 loss of $0.24, 2 cents better than the analyst estimate of ($0.26). Revenue for the quarter was $28.5 million, versus the consensus of $28 million. Sees Q3 revs of $30-$32 million, versus the consensus of $27.5 million.

Interactive Intelligence (Nasdaq: ININ) 9% HIGHER; reports Q1 EPS of $0.16, 5 cents better than the analyst estimate of $0.11. Revenue for the quarter was $29.5 million, versus the consensus of $29.87 million.

Aaron Rents, Inc. (NYSE: AAN) 8% HIGHER; reports Q1 EPS of $0.58, 6 cents better than the analyst estimate of $0.52. Revenue for the quarter was $474 million, versus the consensus of $458.17 million. Aaron Rents sees Q2 EPS 45c to 55c versus $0.46. Sees FY09 $1.90 to $2.05 versus consensus $1.82.

U.S. Steel (NYSE: X) 7.2% LOWER; reports Q1 loss of $3.78, versus the analyst estimate of ($1.69). Revenue for the quarter was $2.75 billion, versus the consensus of $3.14 billion. SuperGen (Nasdaq: SUPG) 5.2% HIGHER; reports Q1 EPS of $0.07, versus the analyst estimate of ($0.03). Revenue for the quarter was $12.9 million, versus the consensus of $8.43 million. Sees FY09 royalty revenues up 10% to $38-$42 million.

SonoSite, Inc. (Nasdaq: SONO) 5% LOWER; reports Q1 EPS of $0.05, 3 cents better than the analyst estimate of $0.02. Revenue for the quarter was $51.8 million, versus the consensus of $52.99 million. Sees Fy09 sales flat to down 10%.

Hanesbrands (NYSE: HBI) 4.7% LOWER; reports Q1 loss of $0.03 adjusted profit, versus the analyst estimate of ($0.05). Revenue for the quarter was $857.8 million, versus the consensus of $871.33 million.

Wright Medical Group, Inc. (Nasdaq: WMGI) 4% LOWER; reports Q1 GAAP EPS of $0.09, versus the analyst estimate of $0.12. Revenue for the quarter was $120.9 million, versus the consensus of $122.47 million.

Northern Trust Corporation (Nasdaq: NTRS) 3.4% LOWER; announced that it has commenced a public offering of $750 million of its common stock for sale to the public.

Rock-Tenn Company (NYSE: RKT) 3% HIGHER; reports Q1 non-GAAP EPS of $1.02, 5 cents better than the analyst estimate of $0.97. Revenue for the quarter was $676.3 million, versus the consensus of $709.04 million.

Celadon Group (Nasdaq: CLDN) 3% LOWER; reports Q1 loss of $0.10, 7 cents lower than the analyst estimate of ($0.03). Revenue for the quarter was $106.9 million, versus the consensus of $117.09 million.

Baidu (Nasdaq: BIDU) 2.6% HIGHER; reports Q1 EPS of $0.86, ex-share-based compensation, 10 cents better than the analyst estimate of $0.76. Revenue for the quarter was $118.6 million, versus the consensus of $115.95 million. Sees Q2 sales of $157-$161 million, versus the consensus of $146 million.
